Hello! This is an independent Star Trek original character role-playing blog. My name is Viquey—the gal behind the scenes—which is also my Skype, Origin, Steam and Star Trek Online username, so you are welcome to add me!

I’ll primarily be playing Admiral Syvik from this blog, as he’s the Captain of this show, but other characters (most notably bondmate Dr. Vol) are sure to make cameos, at the very least. This is all based on my first and, to this day, main Star Trek Online character—Syvik, tactical path level-capped commander of the Defiant Retrofit class escort called the Ephemeral-E. The “E” is there because I named all his ships the Ephemeral (the starter didn’t have a letter, and there’s actually an “F” too [advanced escort, Prometheus class {non-MVAM, though another character of mine does have that, too}; I bought it to try out the extra science slot for some Special Task Force missions]). However, as a story independent of the game, it is the “E” because it went through many iterations over a little more than a decade as the Starfleet Corps of Engineers, in tandem with Syvik and (now-Chief Engineer) Yshali, attempted to create the ultimate warship.

Now, the Ephemeral is a powerful little ship (“‘Little’?!”) with a brilliant and close-knit crew (of approx. 77). It leads the charge in many fleet engagements, and the Borg consider them a high-priority target. Welcome aboard!
